Policy and Tradition

Just trying to make sure we adhere to our longstanding policy and tradition of posting pictures with our posts.

This is a picture that I'm especially proud of - Tyler trying to burn a bug using a magnifying glass while we were at the St. Johns Pioneer Day parade. Tyler didn't quite get the hang of it (he's in the shade), but Nathan became quite proficient at it.

Things I've seen this week

1.Great summer produce
2.Nathan digging his heels in so deep that Cameron had to bring him back home from school
3.Jacob rescuing Tyler from a crazy balloon that was let go in our house
4.3 boys in one bedroom
5.Nathans invention of a Julia swatter (poor little girl, good thing she has a crush on him)
6.Cameron
7.Heavy thick rain
8.Boys in a fort, with windows, watching a lightning show.
9.My toes - still - thankgoodness
10.Fried green tomatoes (highly recommended)

Summer is over :(

Nathan is off to school today. He is such a big boy. He woke up early and finished his chores

Walked right in,

Jacob tried his photograph skills, , good try Jacob.

.
Explored his new desk

When it was time to go Tyler started crying because Nathan couldnt come with us and asked for him all the way home . . . and because he thought the desk next to Nathan was for him until another little boy came in and sat there

We will miss you at school Nathan, string beads well!

No she-mullets for me!

We are very excited to be having our first girl, but we knew our boys wouldnt feel quite the same since they have already dubbed our house "boyland" and "there is no room for anything pink." So on our way home from the doctors we got them swords and decided to knight them protectors of their new baby sister.

This is what Dad came home to.

Pioneer Day

We made a quick trip to St Johns this weekend and the kids had a blast and cried for a good 15 minutes because it was time to go home.

Highlights:
Hotel room (my kids love'em)
Parade
Dollar General
BonFire
Hiking
Firecrackers
